We’re a family of five, born and raised in the charm of New England, whose journey has taken us across the country with my husband’s career. Now settled in the warm heart of Southern Texas, we’ve found joy and purpose in crafting natural, handmade soaps that celebrate quality, connection, and care.
Simply Made by Jodie began in 2021, inspired by our youngest child’s sensitive skin and our desire to create something meaningful. What started as a humble hobby quickly blossomed into a full-fledged family adventure—bringing us closer and opening the door to share our creations with you.
Today, every bar reflects our family's hands-on approach. My boys (including Dad!) proudly serve as scent testers and quality connoisseurs, while my youngest joins me in the creative heart of the business—dreaming up scent blends, naming soaps, and adding a touch of playfulness to everything we make. Together, we craft products that embody our high standards and bring a moment of joy to your daily routine.​

Why We Use Hot Process Soapmaking
At Simply Made by Jodie, we take pride in crafting high-quality, handmade soaps using the hot process method. This technique not only ensures exceptional soap but also allows us to get our products to you faster! Unlike cold process soap, which requires weeks of curing time, hot process soap undergoes a controlled heat stage that speeds up saponification—the chemical reaction that turns oils and lye into soap. This means our soaps are ready to use almost immediately after they cool.
